The following MCC students were recognized for their entries in the 2015-16 League for Innovation in the Community College’s Student Literary Competition hosted by Delta College. This competition included 44 literary works submitted by students from across the League’s board colleges.
- Michael Burkhardt was awarded first place for his one-act play, “Crepusculum Lepus (Darkness, Rabbit).”
- Jeana Clocksin was awarded merit status for “The Weight of Memory.”
- Julia Palozzi was awarded first place for her fiction submission, “Fur,” and merit status for “I Hope We Die.”
