What’s with the bright lime green vests that say “Emergency Services”? If you haven’t heard yet, MCC now has its own College Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) Some members of the College community have gone through the FEMA training program called CERT. The CERT team members have been trained in basic search and rescue, basic first aid, fire extinguisher operations, and mass casualty incident triage. The MCC CERT team is here to aid the Public Safety Department during fire alarms, fire drills, and campus evacuations. So, if you see someone approach you in a bright lime green vest, please follow their directions and help us evacuate the area.
