NY Council for the Humanities Reading & Discussion Program Resumes Wednesday


The Democracy Commitment at MCC, having received a NY Council for the Humanities Grant, has hosted two robust discussions of Danielle Allen's book Talking With Strangers. The book focuses on historical and contemporary issues impacting social trust. The next discussion will take place on Wednesday, April 26th, from 12-1250pm in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe B) on the Brighton Campus. The discussion will be facilitated by Professor Robert Muhlnickel, and will focus on Chapters 8-9. Copies of the book are available on reserve at both the Brighton and Damon Libraries. The event is free and open to the public.
