Carol Dayes, currently employed in the Financial Aid office at Brighton, recently achieved an Individualized Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Charter Oak College located in New Britain, Connecticut. She received her degree mainly by taking online courses.
Carol first began her career at MCC in 1980 as a student and subsequently was hired by the college in 1983 working in the Financial Aid office (when it was located on the first floor). Carol eventually left MCC to pursue other career interests and returned to MCC in 1997. "Throughout my career here at MCC, I knew I would continue my education regardless of how long it would take; and I decided that in order to do this, I had to be diligent and stay focused. I would like to pursue a master's degree, if I adhere to the same principles--staying focused, it will happen."
