Monroe Community College student, Ekaterina Jones, was selected by the New York State Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges (NYSMATYC) Scholarship Committee for an award in the amount of $1,000. Katia was recommended by Mathematics Professors Steven Kilner and Karen Wagner. Scholarship winners were announced at the awards dinner on Friday April 8th in Kingston at the annual NYSMATYC conference.
