Your Pocket Change Could Build a House

Each year the Veteran Build—sponsored by the Flower City Habitat for Humanity and the Veterans Outreach Center—constructs a home for the deserving family of one of our local veterans.

This year’s recipient is Ronald Wright, a discharged single father raising two young children.

MCC’s chapter of American Association of Women in Community Colleges would like to help collect the funds needed for building materials.  From now until the end of September, we’ll have collection stations at the MCC Bookstore, the Marketplace, and at the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development.  Your contributions, no matter how small, will help Habitat for Humanity make a big difference!

At the end of September, we will present one check to Habitat for Humanity for all donations collected from our College community.
