Framework Fridays PD @ Downtown Campus

Our next Framework Friday PD session will be on Friday June 1st, 9:00 AM @ the Downtown Campus. Our topic this month is Trauma and Resiliency in Higher Ed. We are excited to have Shannon Glasgow from the Counseling Center as our presenter. The title of her presentation is:

"Understanding Trauma and Resiliency in Higher Education from a Student Perspective"

This workshop is designed to give higher education professionals an opportunity to understand trauma, the signs, symptoms and effects on today's college student. We will examine common situations our students report and how we as professionals can assist these students from a strength based resiliency lens.

Framework Fridays are monthly PD sessions held through Student Services at the Downtown Campus to address a number of topics suggested by staff. If you are interested in attending this session please reach out to Kim DeLardge, kdelardge@monroecc.edu.
