Bogdanovska invited as Visiting Artist, gives lectures and has a solo exhibition

Jasna Bogdanovska, Assistant Professor of Photography at the Visual and Performing Arts department has been the 2017 Brunell Visiting Artist at Cayuga Community College (CCC) in Auburn, New York. During her semester long work, she taught a class, gave lectures, had a solo exhibition and worked closely with students to develop their artwork.

In addition to Bogdanovska, some of the other speakers of the 2017 Spring Speaker Series were Barbara Corcoran (Real Estate Entrepreneur & star of ABC’s Shark Tank and New York Times Best-Selling author “Rags To Riches”), Curt Menefee (Award winning co-host of “Fox NFL Sunday”, Host of Travel Channels “Hello Goodbye” and“Losing Isn’t Everything”), Hoda Kotb(Emmy Award winning journalist and co-host of The Today Show“) and Anderson Cooper (Emmy Award-winning television personality, CNN anchor and author of “A Conversation With Anderson Cooper”).

Bogdanovska’s solo exhibition Between opened on April 17 and was on display at both Auburn Public Theater and the School of Media and the Arts at CCC. During the opening reception, Jasna answered many questions from the audience.

This Monday, May 8th the CCC students who studied under Bogdanovska’s lead, showed their final work in a group exhibition at Auburn Public Theater. Their work will be shown at CCC until the end of May.
