Men's and Women's Swim Teams Finish Third

The Monroe Community College Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving teams both placed 3rd at the 2004 NJCAA National Championship Meet. The meet was held at Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, Florida from March 3-6, 2004. The 3rd place finish for the men’s team is the first in our college's history.

Seven of the fifteen student-athletes who competed for Monroe were selected to the CSCAA All-American Team. In order to receive this honor an individual student-athlete needed to finish in the top four of an individual event. In addition to All-American performances, three new school records and two new Region III records were established by Monroe student-athletes.
