Three members of Rochester AmeriCorps were recently recognized by Rochester Mayor William A. Johnson as Unsung Heroes for their work with city teens. Joshua Bloodworth, Melanie Killian and Sarah McMaster received their awards at a breakfast meeting at the Clarion Riverside Hotel on Saturday, May 31. Their involvement with the teens included producing a television talk show focused on the city's Renaissance 2010 plan and other urban issues and supporting the importance of youth involvement.
