EDIWS Referenced in New Directions for Institutional Research: Post Graduate Outcomes

The MCC Economic Development and Innovative Workforce Services Division’s (EDIWS) labor linked program work has been included in a recently published volume of New Directions for Institutional Research: Post Graduate Outcomes on Jossey-Bass. This publication is part of a widely known series often used as reference for academic scholars and practitioners.

The publication includes a highlight of MCC’s use of traditional and real time labor market data to inform changes to curriculum to better address skill gaps in skilled production in the Finger Lakes economy. MCC’s work is highlighted in Chapter five, Community Colleges: Preparing Students for Diverse Careers.
