AmeriCorps Member Development Highlighted at NYS Training

On October 26 the Rochester AmeriCorps program’s member development philosophy and approach were presented to staff from across New York state at the annual New Yorkers Volunteer training conference in New Rochelle. Program Director Marilyn Rosche was asked by staff of the New York Commission on National and Community Service to be part of a panel presentation sharing best practices. The program, based at the Damon City Campus, enrolls 45 full time AmeriCorps members who address community issues through service placements in a variety of local organizations.
