Two members of the MCC Tribunes women's basketball team earned NJCAA All-American (First Team) honors. This is the first time that Head Coach Tim Parrinello has had two players earn first team honors. Walker, a sophomore from Jersey City, N.J., was highly recognized this season, including Region III All-Tournament Team, All-Region, Region III Player of the Year, NJCAA All-Tournament Team and All-American honors. Taylor, a freshman from Brooklyn, N.Y., earned Region III All- Tournament Team, All-Region (first team), NJCAA All-Tournament Team, MVP of the national tournament, and All-American honors. The Lady Tribunes won the NJCAA Division II National Title recently by defeating Scottsdale Community College 63-41. MCC finished completed the season with a record of 28-2.
