AAWCC Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

It’s that time of year again!  On Monday, November 13th, the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) Service Committee will begin its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit families at Wilson Commencement Park.

We will be collecting canned goods, boxed items and financial donations until Friday, November 17st. Donations of stuffing, cornmeal, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables and macaroni are especially needed.

We will deliver our food items in laundry baskets again this year as opposed to cardboard boxes.  If you would like to bring your food items in a laundry basket, or to donate a laundry basket, it would be greatly appreciated.

Financial donations and gift cards from local grocery stores are also appreciated, but should you prefer to give a check, please make them payable to Wilson Commencement Park and send them to Yulanda McKinney in the English/Philosophy Department, 5-518.
