On Saturday, April 18, Paul Seeburger of the Mathematics Department was honored during the annual meeting of the New York State Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges (NYSMATYC) with their award for Outstanding Contributions to Mathematics Education. To qualify, the individual must have made significant contributions to mathematics education beyond his own campus. Most notable, perhaps, are Paul’s contributions in the area of dynamic visualization tools for univariate and multivariate Calculus which he has shared with students and faculty locally, state-wide, nationally, and even internationally.
