DeLaus Speaks for Women's Foundation

Earlier this year, the Women's Foundation of Genesee Valley hosted their 20th Annual Voices of Experience Program at the Nazareth College Arts Center. The Foundation chose five outstanding women to speak about the challenges they have faced as well as their personal accomplishments. One of those chosen was Sarah DeLaus, a part-time guard with the Department of Public Safety currently assigned to the Downtown Campus. Sarah talked of her experiences helping Rochester youth and the insights she gained through those experiences. Sarah is a valuable asset to Public Safety and we are proud that the Foundation selected her to speak at such an inspiring event. Check out her poignant words in the Foundation's newsletter below.
