Charlie Clarke, Psychology, encouraged members of New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) to take class disruptions seriously and clarify expectations in the Jan. 19 issue of "New York Teacher." The article highlighted Clarke's experience in mediation and conflict resolution, a topic he presented at the NYSUT community college conference in fall 2005. He has also been invited to present on the topic at Suffolk Community College this semester.
