MCC Schools and the Monroe Doctrine

The January issue of the Monroe Doctrine hit stands this week.  All six MCC Schools are featured on pages 4 and 5 along with a student-written article including an interview with President Kress.

Throughout the semester, the Monroe Doctrine will feature one School in each issue – providing School-specific information such as programs, resources, location, and contacts.

As we begin to transition current students to this model, the Monroe Doctrine can serve as a resource to introduce the subject.  It can be especially meaningful because it is written by students and for students.  For resources on MCC Schools and how to begin introducing them to students in your classroom, visit the MCC Academies Model Blackboard space.

MCC is made up of many creative and talented faculty, staff and students.  If you have an idea on how to share the MCC Schools message with students or an idea for a program partnership for the spring semester, please contact Krista Tyner at <mailto:ktyner@monroecc.edu> .
