Robert Leopard and Jim Cronmiller Present at HAPS Annual Conference

Two faculty from the Biology Department presented at this year’s  Human Anatomy and Physiology Society Conference in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Jim Cronmiller presented "A Prospective Blinded Cross-Over Study Assessing the Effectiveness of Mini-Case Method in Teaching Human Physiology."  The presentation was on the data collected during a  study on case studies.  Jim will be submitting a paper for publication on the finds of his study.

Robert Leopard presented “Techniques to help your students 'get‘ histology.”
Workshop description: One of the most difficult skills for anatomy and physiology students to learn is to identify tissues viewed microscopically. In this workshop we will present different techniques to help students develop this skill. This workshop is especially intended for people teaching pre-health science anatomy or anatomy and physiology. Participants are encouraged to share their own successful techniques.
