Records Management Move to the New Downtown Campus

The move of the College Records Management Office from DCC into the New Downtown Campus has been successfully completed. The move involved several large pieces of equipment, approximately 2,500 cubic feet of boxed materials and 35 shelving units. The organizational structure had to be maintained and re-assembled at the new campus. This complex move was coordinated through the efforts of MCC personnel Tim DeMersman, Eric Johannisson, and Sandy Wolf, who worked closely with David Blaine, Project Manager for Vargas Associates.

Records Management remains open at Damon and can accept confidential shredding at this location. Requests for materials housed at the new location should be made to:  ArchivesRecordsManagement@monroecc.edu

Please note that access to the new location is limited so requests will be delayed 24 to 48 hours.

While the stored collection has been moved to the New Downtown Campus, the building is not open for occupancy, and there is no mail or delivery service to that location.  Records Management cannot accept confidential materials for storage until the new facility receives a certificate of occupancy and deliveries can begin. The tentative date for receiving properly boxed confidential materials is June 5, 2017.
