On May 5, 2005, a special recognition award was presented by the Admissions Office to Tony Felicetti, Associate Vice President, Academic Services and Enrollment Management at the SUNY Empire State Honors Scholarship for African American, Hispanic/Latino and Native American Students Awards reception.
The SUNY Empire State Honors Scholarship for African American, Hispanic/Latino and Native American Students was established to recognize the outstanding academic achievement among undergraduate students of color. Through this program, SUNY provides scholarship funds to be matched by the participating SUNY College. MCC students will receive $20,000 worth of scholarships during the 2004-05 academic year. Tony was recognized for his vision in promoting both the inception and support of this program on its 15th year anniversary.
