This Saturday, MCC will walk proudly for the American Heart Association Heart Walk. The weather report is spectacular – 61 degrees! Join your colleagues and students and walk with us for an hour from 10:00 – 11:00. Attached is a map of the walk around the river in downtown Rochester. We are meeting at the Blue Cross Arena in Section 217 by 9:45 am – wear MCC colors and look for us. It is free to walk and we need more walkers.
As you walk at the Rochester Heart Walk on April 12, 2014, we invite you to CARRY A TORCH in memory or in honor of someone you love that has been impacted by either of these diseases. Receive a torch to carry along the Heart Walk route by making a minimum donation of $10 to the American Heart Association at this year's walk. Look for the "Torch" Tables at the Heart Walk to make your donation and receive your torch! Torches are lightweight and do not have an actual flame. Only "day of event" donations qualify for a torch. Cash and Checks will be accepted.
