Nearly 6,000 Rochester community movie lovers attended 23 films over 9 days at the 12th annual JCC Ames Amzalak Rochester Jewish Film Festival which ran from July 8th to July 16th this year. Frederick P. Burger of the Visual and Performing Arts Department at MCC was the chairman of the festival this year. He has been a member of the programming and festival managing committee for five years starting in 2008. The Rochester Jewish Film Festival is one of the largest festivals of its kind in the northeast.
