Lynn Bartholome, Ph.D., associate professor, English/Philosophy and executive chair, Popular Culture Association and American Culture Association, was presented with the Popular Culture Association Governing Board Award for contributions to popular culture and popular culture studies. Bartholome received the honor, the highest the organization gives, at the 39th annual Popular Culture Association conference held in Boston last month.
At the conference, Bartholome was also elected executive chair of the Popular Culture Association and its sister organization, the American Culture Association. As executive chair, she will act as official spokesperson for both organizations.
