The following individuals presented at the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Convention, which took place April 18-21 in San Antonio, Texas:

* President Anne M. Kress “@GettingTheWordOut: Using Social Media to Connect and Communicate about Your College’s Big Things”
* Project Director Ebony Caldwell and Dean Kate Smith – “Acceleration versus Competence: The Next Big Question – A Look at Developmental Education Redesign Process and Data”
In conjunction with the AACC convention, Dr. Susan Baker and Ms. Julianna Frisch attended the American Association of Women in Community Colleges’ (AAWCC) annual Awards Breakfast, Open Forum, and Spring Board Meeting. Dr. Baker is the VP of Membership and Ms. Frisch is the Region 1 Director for AAWCC.
