The Monroe Community College women's soccer team will open its season with a pair of games in California this weekend. The Tribunes will play Laramie CCC Saturday afternoon and follow with a contest against De Anza CC on Monday.
MCC has captured the last two NJCAA Division I national titles and three of the last five. Last year's squad went 21-2 and defeated Darton College 2-1 in the championship game. The Tribunes are coached by Tracey Britton, who enters her eighth year with a record of 137-9-5.
