Coffey Interviewed by RNews About New Campaign

Associate Professor Jim Coffey, VaPA, was interviewed by RNews Anchor Virginia Butler on Jan. 19 regarding a new ad campaign designed to “get the word out about the Rochester Parent Network (RPN)." The interview was first in a series that will air throughout the next several months.

During the interview, Coffey, who also serves as president of the Rochester Parent Network, talked about how calls to 292-BABY generated by the campaign and other activities will now be immediately answered by nurses in ViaHealth’s call center instead of the automated system at MCC.

The ad campaign that debuted last week was developed through the Advertising Council of Rochester and The Verdi Group to support the Early Childhood Development Initiative locally. The campaign encourages parents and child care providers to help babies’ brains to grow by singing, talking and playing. It also encourages people to call the RPN’s support line, 292-BABY, for “support for you and your baby.”
