Travel Club to Collect for the Open Door Mission during October!

The MCC Travel Club is looking to MCC faculty, students, and friends to lend a helping hand. We will be conducting a drive for the Open Door Mission beginning October 6th running through October 31st.

The Open Door Mission was founded to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of "the last, the least, and the lost." It is a non-profit organization that relies completely on the private donations from the community. The Travel Club would like to help make a difference in these people's lives, so we are asking Monroe Community College and the community to join our cause.

Here is a list of supplies we are asking for:
Men’s/Women’s/Children’s winter apparel (coats, hats, scarves, gloves), Men’s/Women’s/Children's sneakers and boots (all sizes), Men’s/Women’s/Children's undergarments (all sizes), Men's/Women's clothing (plus sizes), Paper towels, Bathroom tissue, Disposable razors, Deodorants, Cough drops, Canned goods

Bins will be set up to collect your donations in two locations, outside Reflections Restaurant and outside the Hospitality Department Offices, Room 3-155. For more information please contact Jackie Aguglia, the club president, via email at <mailto:jaguglia004@studentmonroecc.edu> or stop into the Travel Club Office, Room 3-138P.

On behalf of the Travel Club and Open Door Mission we thank you in advance for your generosity.
