Health Professions Chair, Automotive Technology Program Student and Staff Member Quoted in Article

An article in Sunday’s edition of the Democrat and Chronicle identified automotive technology and health information technology as emerging professions. The reporter interviewed Tanya Downs, an MCC automotive student; Kristy Graves, program coordinator of applied technologies at Applied Technologies Center; and Sharon Insero, professor and chair of the Health Professions Department. Tanya is completing her co-op with Vision Automotive Group—Hyundai this semester.

Note: Kristy was misquoted in one sentence. It should say: “Taking care of cars is one trade that can’t be out
sourced.”
