Students still seeking answers on Excelsior Scholarship

WROC's Jordan Guerrein interviewed MCC Associate Vice President of Enrollment Christine Casalinuovo-Adams about the impact of the Excelsior Scholarship on enrollment. The August 17 segment, Students still seeking answers on Excelsior Scholarship, shares the story of how students are seeking clarification about what the scholarship covers.

Casalinuovo-Adams explained how MCC has "seen an uptick in phone calls from parents and students" who are interested in attending MCC this fall or in the future. She also stressed the importance of submitting a completed FAFSA form as part of the application process.

As noted in the segment, the scholarship provides free tuition for families making less than $100,000 a year for two- and four-year SUNY and CUNY colleges.
