Tom Cooper Receives FCCC Award

On Friday, April 8, Tom Cooper, professor of art, received the Distinguished Faculty Award from SUNY's Faculty Council of Community Colleges (FCCC). In the course of a dozen years of service as a member of the FCCC, Tom served on The Chancellor's Strategic Planning Committee (International Education Focus), The Provost's Advisory Committee on General Education (PACGE) and the subsequent Advisory Committee (ACGE) that continued the work of reshaping SUNY's General Education requirements. The FCCC Award is also a recognition of Tom's contributions to the Fulbright Association's International Education Committee and for the several NEH and East/West Center grants and awards he's received as a community college professor.
