As you know by now, there is going to be an MCC Night at Frontier Field on Thursday, August 30th, following our traditional All College Days program. There will be many activities celebrating MCC, its faculty and staff, and one of the most moving ones will be the carrying of the American flag during the singing of the National Anthem by MCC student Melody Marshall.
In order to unfurl this huge flag on the field, we need 20-50 volunteers. Volunteers have to be attending the game and able to be there by 6:30 p.m. If you would like to be a part of this wonderful moment, please contact Peggy VanKirk at pvankirk@monroecc.edu. Contact her soon as it will be first-come, first-served for this special duty and the limit is 50.
