Happy Lunar New Year!

Many countries in Asia celebrate the Lunar New Year with different traditions and rituals. In China, it is the Year of the Dog. In Vietnam, it is called Tet. In Korea, families celebrate with rice cake soup.

This year, the Lunar New Year began on Friday, Feb 16, 2018. To celebrate, stop by the PRISM Multicultural Center all week to try a piece of candy from different Asian countries. Or, go to the MCC Library homepage to start researching different Lunar New Year traditions and celebrations from around the world.
