Julie Damerell and Eileen Lanzafame, both of Transitional Studies, presented a workshop entitled, “Reading and Math: Hand in Hand from Day One and Page 1” at the New York College Learning Skills Association Symposium on April 12, 2010. They provided reading strategies to use in Math and other subject areas to help students learn and retain knowledge more easily.
