On Saturday, October 1, riders will gather at 10:23 a.m. on the Brighton Campus in front of the Spina Administration Building, at the flagpole, for pre-ride instructions. Everyone is welcome — students, staff, faculty, and administrators. Raise awareness and promote the transformative benefits of community cycling – sustainability, health and wellness, and transportation safety. Learn to navigate to and from the Erie Canal path. Ride crosses over to the canal path, then proceeds to Pittsford’s Schoen Place for a respite (BYO – eat, drink). After the rest interlude, ride returns to MCC. One-way is roughly 6.5 miles. Plan on a total ride of 15 miles.
What should I wear? A helmet, high-vis yellow optional -- but a very smart choice. What if it rains? We’ll get wet.
This Event is Sponsored by MCC’s Sustainability Steering Committee and MCC’s Wellness Council.
