Carmelita Brown-Wallace, Upward Bound director, co-presented a workshop entitled "Accountability: A two-way process of Who, What, Why and How" during the Association for Equality and Excellence in Education 27th Annual Conference on May 4 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Carmelita presented with Barbara Sadden, director the Upward Bound program at Genessee Community College. The workshop assisted participants in identifying who is accountable to whom and explored why accountability is important to each party. The workshop was interactive and consisted of group discussions, games and handouts.
More than 40 people attended the workshop so Carmelita and Barbara were were asked to present a second time.
