It’s that time of year again! On Monday, November 14th, the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) Service Committee will begin its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. We will begin collecting items to deliver to families at Wilson Commencement Park.
We will be collecting canned goods, boxed items and financial donations until Monday, November 21st. The need for stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables and macaroni are especially needed.
We will be delivering our food items in laundry baskets again this year as opposed to cardboard boxes. If you would like to bring your food items in a laundry basket or just donate a laundry basket it would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to make a financial donation, gift cards from local grocery stores are greatly appreciated or if you prefer to just give a check, please make your checks payable to Wilson Commencement Park and send them to Tracy Archie in the Admissions Office, 1-211F.
