June 7th Marks the 17th Year for the Rochester AIDS Walk

AIDS Rochester is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services including education, prevention, advocacy and support for people and families infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.  In the US an estimated 1 in 4 individuals that have HIV don’t know it and Rochester has the 2nd highest HIV infection rate per capita in the state, outside of New York City.

The annual AIDS Walk is of the largest fundraisers in the Rochester area. The money raised for AIDS Rochester, and other participating AIDS agencies, helps many families affected by HIV that have multiple needs.

The 5k walk will take place on June 7th at 11:00 AM in Highland Park. Registration and entertainment will begin at 9:30, followed by a picnic lunch provided by DiBella’s Old Fashioned Subs.

Please join the MCC team and participate in this distinguished event. Please contact David McLuckie for more information, to become a sponsor or to participate.
