Alice Harrington, Reference/Instruction Librarian, co-presented at the SUNY Librarian’s Association Conference in Cortland on May 27th along with colleagues Kim Davies and Katherine Merrill from SUNY Geneseo. Their presentation/workshop, entitled "Focus on Five: Anticipatory Sets and Library Instruction," centered upon activities (anticipatory sets) that library instructors can do at the beginning of a session to gain students' attention and to set the stage for further learning.
