Rochester AmeriCorps Information and Recruitment Session


Rochester AmeriCorps is holding an information and recruitment session on August 3rd from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Damon City Campus.

We are looking for social justice-oriented individuals to serve the Rochester community full time from September 12, 2016 through August 13, 2017. Members serve in elementary and secondary schools in the Rochester City School District, with tutoring and pre-collegiate programs that partner with RCSD, and through the Department of Human Services.

Benefits of service include: bi-weekly living allowance of $522 (estimated, pre-tax), an education award of $5,775 upon successful completion of the program, forbearance on qualified student loans, no-cost health insurance, child care subsidy, specialized training, and ongoing professional development and networking opportunities.
