The MCC men’s basketball team is riding high into the postseason. Winners of 11 straight, the Tribunes (25-5) are the top seed as they host the Region III, Division II tournament this Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament actually kicks off Tuesday night as Alfred State plays at Jamestown CC and Mercyhurst NE travels to Batavia to take on Genesee CC in the quarterfinal round. The action heads to Rochester on Saturday, as MCC will play the Alfred/Jamestown winner at 1 p.m. Erie CC will play the other winner at 3 p.m.
The championship game will be 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $3 per day. Admission is free with a valid, current MCC ID.
