Open Interviews and Information Sessions for Rochester AmeriCorps


Rochester AmeriCorps is hosting two upcoming recruitment events:

Information Session: Wednesday, August 17, 2:30 – 4:30pm, room 4193 at the Damon City Campus. Come to learn more about the program and find out if you are ready to be a RocAmeriCorps member.

Open Interviews: Wednesday, August 31, 2:30-4:30pm, room 4193 at the Damon City Campus. Come prepared to interview with RocAmeriCorps staff, bring your resume and contacts for two professional references.

We are looking for social justice oriented individuals to serve the Rochester community full time from September 12, 2016 through August 13, 2017. Members serve in elementary and secondary schools in the Rochester City School District, with tutoring and pre-collegiate programs that partner with RCSD, and through the Department of Human Services.

Benefits of service include: bi-weekly living allowance of $522 (estimated, pre-tax), an education award of $5,775 upon successful completion of the program, forbearance on qualified student loans, no-cost health insurance, child care subsidy, specialized training, and ongoing professional development and networking opportunities.
