This weekend will be one of the busiest of the year for the MCC Athletic program. Three teams will host contests as the winter regular season winds down.
The men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will host the Region III/Northeast District championship Friday through Sunday. The meet will have two sessions each day. Friday and Saturday sessions will be at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday’s final sessions will be at 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The Tribune men’s basketball team welcomes Mercyhurst North East Saturday in a crucial WNYAC contest. Game time is 4 p.m.
Finally, the hockey team will host two important regional games against Hudson Valley CC at the Sports Centre at MCC. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. Friday and again at 7 p.m. Saturday.
