The next “Community Fridays for a Cause” is Friday, March 7th.
Lollipop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, will be the recipient of donations raised through the “Community Fridays for a Cause” program.
Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is committed to building lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs and the prevention of cruelty.
As an “open-admission” or “open-door” shelter, Lollypop Farm accepts every single animal that arrives at the shelter. There are 30 animals arriving every single day — about 11,000 in one year.
Lollypop Farm strives to provide an adoption experience that considers the needs and lifestyles of both the adopter and the pet. Adoption Counselors work with prospective families to ensure happy, successful adoptions that last a lifetime. It is strongly recommended the entire family meet the animal you are considering to ensure the best match for the family. Lollypop Farm encourages all pet owners to spay and neuter their pets to help stem the tide of pet overpopulation.
Lollipop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is the only authorized organization in Monroe County with SPCA designation charged with investigating and enforcing the animal cruelty laws of New York State. The efforts of the law enforcement agents are funded solely by donations.

Donations will be collected in each department. All checks should be made out to the Lollipop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester. Donation envelopes have been returned to your departments to be used again on March 7th. Please bring donation envelopes to Jodee Biller in the Controller’s Office no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, March 7th.
