Passing of Professor Emerita Connie Miller

I am sad to share the news that Professor Emerita Connie Miller passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Connie began her MCC career in 1967 as an instructor in Office Technology. She was very quickly recognized as a pleasant colleague and an extremely competent and conscientious teacher, She was promoted to assistant professor in 1968 and earned the rank of associate professor three years later. In 1982, she became a full professor.

Throughout her years here, Connie was an engaged member of the college community serving on the Faculty Senate, the MCC Faculty Women's Caucus and several college-wide committees. In 1988, she was the recipient of MCC's Innovator and Entrepreneur Award.

Connie held a M.A. from Syracuse University and a B.S. from Indiana University.

Funeral services will be private. Donations in Connie's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society,
