Marlene Goho and Patricia Kress Take MCC Mediation Model to NYSUT Conference


MCC Faculty Association representatives Marlene Goho (Transitional Studies) and Patricia Kress (Psychology) participated in a panel discussion on “Union Building: Models of Member-to-Member Dispute Resolution” at the 29th annual New York State United Teachers Community College Conference, on Nov. 10 in Cooperstown, N.Y. The conference was entitled, “Sharing Our Strength, Strengthening Our Locals.”

Goho and Kress presented MCC’s mediation model and ways the MCC Faculty Association keeps its members united during issue exploration and resolution. They were joined on the panel by Karen Harrison from the Onondaga Community College Federation of Teachers and Administrators and Agnes Crothers from the Cayuga Community College Faculty Association.
