Intramural Program Announcements


On behalf of the Intramural department I just wanted to preview events, leagues, and fitness classes that will be starting in the next couple of weeks.

Starting on Tuesday, September 11th and running through the semester at 6:30-7:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays we are offering a workout class for all students, staff, and faculty.  This class will combine a wide range of exercises and techniques that cater to any specific fitness level.  Classes will usually meet in the PAC fitness center but will use all of the fitness resources we have.

Starting Monday, September 10th and running through the semester from 5-6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays is our ever-popular Zumba Fitness classes taught by Andrea Bonaccorso.  Classes take place in the dance studio, in room 10-143.

Starting Monday, September 17th and running through November on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-1 p.m. on the outside turf field is the 7-on-7 flag football league.  Teams of seven or more are encouraged to sign up or you can sign up as an individual and be put with other individuals to form a team. 

In progress is our Yoga fitness class running on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the dance studio (10-143).  This will also run through the semester.
