Jonathon Little Presents at National Conference on Geography Education

Jonathon Little (Chemistry/Geosciences) led a workshop at the 2009 National Conference on Geography Education in San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 24.  This conference is an annual event hosted by the National Council for Geographic Education where geography educators from across the country and around the world meet to exchange ideas, research, resources, and best practices in geography education.  Jon’s workshop was titled: SMART Geography Lessons: Using interactive whiteboards to enhance College Geography.  The workshop provided attendees with an introduction to the capabilities of SMART Boards and free Physical Geography Smart Notebook lessons.  This workshop was sponsored by the New York Geographic Alliance (NYGA) and the Chemistry and Geosciences department.
