Emerging Entrepreneurs' Essays Featured in D&C
Essays by Lisa McElroye and Vern Morrow, students in MCC’s new Emerging Entrepreneurs program, were featured in the Sept. 28 Democrat and Chronicle. Their essays discussed their pursuit of new or second careers. McElroye’s essay explored her decision to open a wellness center in Rochester after working 22 years at Xerox. Morrow’s essay explained how he balances his current job as a New York State Trooper with his passion for graphic design.
The Emerging Entrepreneurs program is administered by MCC’s Business Administration/Economics Department and Assistant Professor Sherry Tshibangu.
