I am pleased to announce President Anne M. Kress as the 2013 ATHENA Award winner! This award was given to Dr. Kress at the 27th Annual ATHENA Award ceremony on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. This award highlighted 15 exceptional women who make a big difference in the Greater Rochester community.
Those who attended the ceremony included her spouse, Ned Davis, MCC Board of Trustees, President’s Staff, and community leaders. As the emcee read the nominee’s achievements, we knew she was the winner! In her acceptance speech, she credited her success to MCC faculty and staff by stating she, “would not be here if it weren’t for the incredible people at MCC.”
